Who am I?

I am Rendani Isaac Mulaudzi (popularly known in some circles as Doc Rendani). I was not born with the title Doc, but I can attribute it to the influence of many people starting with my parents, Esrom Mulaudzi and Tendani Sarah-Jane Mulaudzi (nee Muthambi), my 3 children, my 3 brothers and a sister, my aunts and uncles, cousins, teachers, peers and local, regional, national and international associates and communities I have lived in since I was born. What I am is a corollary of all my existence, experience and interactions with my world which looked upon me favourably. I am therefore the son of this world and find it necessary to “pay it forward” by sharing my personal and professional experience learned from great teachers and through hard knocks of life.
You will find my thoughts on current affairs in sport, politics, education, social welfare, and many other areas on the website I am launching today. I will be conscious of this fact; that my opinion on issues is just that; my opinion. However, I hope that my thoughts and what I will pose as solutions to challenges facing us South African in the areas I have mentioned above, will get us to begin a constructive dialogue that will confirm Allan Paton’s description of that “Ah! But Your Land is Beautiful.” And indeed, our Land and its people are beautiful. Critical in our dialogues will be that my opinion is not worth more than what anyone else can say. I will share with you what is informed by my knowledge, and academic and lived experience, as founded on sound reasoning.
“Your opinion matters, especially if it’s supported by facts and observations”
